Ink Dots are applied to wooden bat handles to aid in visual inspection of that bat's straightness of grain on its face grain. Verifying that the tangential slope of grain is less than 3 degrees, per MLB specifications to aid in measure of bat durability and game safety.

Finishing Offered at Annex

Natural: No finish on the bat. This is preferred by players who like the feel of a wood grip, those who like to bone rub their bats for hardness and/or smoothing out dents, and also by players looking to do their own artwork to customize a bat.

Clear Finish: A nice gloss finish to the bat. Our lacquer finish helps protect the wood from moisture.

Matte Colors (Handle): Handle is dipped in our matte finish, either black or white. Your choice of natural or a clear finish barrel only.

Stain Colors (Handle): Navy, Night blue, Steel gray, Monster green, Tiger orange, deep purple, Lumberjack red, Walnut and Cali yellow. Your choice of natural or a clear finish barrel only.
